I honestly can't keep track of the actual heat values. Would like it if the card's heat display was adjusted or maybe separate the rank display and heat display?
Thanks for playing. We got similar comments from some other people. We had big plans to revamp the whole experience but some team members got busy with other stuff. I have some updates I’m making on my side and I’ll see if I can publish an update some time this summer.
I'm looking through the 2024 Brackeys game jam entries and this is among my favorites. The gameplay is engaging and I'm so enamored with the little detail of the cards tilting as you move your mouse over them. I swear I just played around with that element for a couple minutes XD
Thanks for the comment. That is mostly adapted from a freely available shader. I just combined with a couple other ideas to get our foil and gold effects (which were in turn inspired by Balatro).
