Hello there! I am a software developer and machine learning engineer by day and I build games at night.
I've played videogames since I was a kid and I always wanted to make my own. I have been having a lot of fun with Godot and participated in a few jams. I will continue but I am now focusing on updating some of the jams and looking for interesting projects.
If you are a game developer and you are curious, I'll try to release the code and/or full projects for you to tinker, contact me if the sources for the project you'd like to check are not available yet.
If you are an artist, I am looking for people to collaborate in the future. Let me know if you have any ideas or there are any game jams you are interested in exploring.
Feel free to reach out on Discord @josepvalls. I'd also appreciate if you leave any comments or feedback in the games themselves!
A quick note on my stance on generative AI: while my day job requires me to use it heavily, I intentionally keep it out of my personal projects. For me, solving coding and solving complex problems is a fun challenge. I will rely on some AI assistance for quick questions or proofreading/rewording text as I am not a native English speaker. I deeply value human craft in both art and code, and I'm looking to connect with like-minded creators.
